The pilot project “Package Tour for Leave” was launched in the beginning of the year. At this moment, over 360 employees have applied for it and chosen trip vouchers via travel agencies. The price of such a voucher is partly compensated by the company, and the compensation depends on the fact how often does an employee apply for this benefit. The maximal amount of the compensation is 10 000 UAH.
Since the beginning of the year, the most popular vacation destinations of the employees have been Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Skhidnytsia, Truskavets, Uzhgorod, Lviv, and many other places and countries.
“Package Tour for Leave” is the project of equal opportunities both for managers and shop floor personnel. Each employee, regardless of a trade union membership may chose the way and time of his/her leisure.
Valerii Lialiushko, trucks repairman of Mining Transport Shop, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih: “I have been working for the company for 34 years, and I have received trip vouchers to local resorts many times. But I have never been to other ones. Having found out about the project, I decided to apply, choosing Skhidnytsia resort as the destination place. I had great vacation: luxury hotel suite with a picturesque scenery view, delicious cuisine and skilled personnel. Now, I am fresh, empowered, and ready to go on working”.
Olga Romanenko, senior dosing operator at Sinter Shop of Steel Plant, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih: “It was 8 days of paradise, on the Red Sea’s shore, at one of the best hotels of Sharm el Sheikh has to offer. That’s just incredible. Warm pleasant water of a sophisticated color, nice hotel suite, and all-inclusive. Plenty of fruit, camel-riding, ventures to the desert riding ATVs, spiritual evening meals by warmly welcoming Bedouins”.
Each employee of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih can get the compensation from the company for recreational usage. The amount of money allocated for recreational purposes is to be transferred to the account of a travel agency, according to the following limit: either 2 000 UAH once per year, 5 000 per 2 years or 10 000 per 3 years.
Taking part in “Package Tour for Leave” project does not restrict from buying trip vouchers of own recreational centers of the company, which are financed by it.
Back in 2017, over 6 thousand employees and members of their families enjoyed their vacations at seashores in recreational centers of the company. The company social policy is also oriented towards children of the employees. Last summer, over 4.2 thousand children spent their holidays near seas at children’s summer camps. The camps worked in 4 shifts, 18 day each. Over 2.1 thousand employees and retirees of the company improved their health at Kriviy Rih health-care center Dzherelo over the past year.
