In January-March Russian Coal mined 4 million tons of coal.
Some 1 million tons of power-generating coal were mined at the Stepnoy pit in the Republic of Khakasia.
Last quarter the company also mined the 60-millionth ton of coal.
The Stepnoy pit was put into operation in 1993. In 2017 it yielded over 4.2 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
