In February pig iron output in the world dropped by 2.18% YoY, to 90.084 million tons.
According to the World Steel Association, the first place is occupied by China (53.775 million tons, down by 3.2% YoY).
Ukraine is on the ninth position with 1.625 million tons, slightly short of US’ 1.8 million tons, but far ahead of Taiwan with 1.015 million tons.
