Neryungry-Metallik LLC, a part of Nordgold, in 2017 extracted 2.084 tons of gold (67 thousand ounces).
Ore mining exceeded 5 million tons, while processing, taking into account stocks, – 6 million tons.
Since last year the company has been mining ore at three deposits in Yakutia – Tabornoye (since 2002), Temnoye and Gross.
In August 2017 the company started developing the Temnoye gold ore deposits, opened in 2016. Its reserves total 4.4 tons, while the general gold reserves – 10.4 tons. The deposit will be in development for 3 years.
Last year the deposit yielded 378 kg of gold. The gold contents in the Temnoye ore are over 1 g per ton.
The Gross deposits reserves according to JORC 2012 (P+P) are estimated at 4.4 million ounces, while M+I+I resources at 8.5 million ounces.
When the deposit reaches its project capacity, it will become the Nordgold largest mine in Russia, processing some 12 million tons of ore per year and producing 6.221 tons of gold (200 thousand ounces) per year for 7 years.
Last year the company gold sales revenue exceeded $86 million. (Ukrainian metal)
