In January-February Ukraine produced 2.98 million tons of rolled metal, down by 7% YoY.
At the same time 2.64 million tons of rolled metal were exported, or 88.7% of the total output.
In January-February 2017, 2.54 million tons of rolled metal were exported, or 79.5% of the output (3.19 million tons).
The main export markets this year are European Union Countries, Near East and other European countries, including Turkey.
Semi-finished products account for 42.9% of the total exports, down from 44.1% last year.
The share of the flat rolled metal grew from 30.7% to 32%, while the share of the long rolled metal remained almost the same – 25.1%, or 850 thousand tons, as opposed to 25.2%, or 260 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
