MMK is carrying out the construction of the sintering factory with no analogues in Russia.
The preparation works began in December 2016. Now the metal structures are being assembled.
In December 2017 the company warehouses received 2.5 thousand tons of Sinosteel machinery. The Chinese party intends to supply some 22 thousand tons.
The cost of this machinery is 6.7 billion rubles.
Total investments in the factory, including construction, will amount to 22 billion rubles.
The sintering factory No. 5 will be commissioned in 2019. It will provide the MMK blast furnace shop with high quality sinter.
When the factory is put into operation, the factory No. 4 will be shut down.
The new project will decrease pollution and improve labor conditions. (Ukrainian metal)
