In 2017 Raspadskaya increased deliveries of coking coal to Evraz Ukraine enterprises 9-fold YoY, to 506 thousand tons.
The share of Evraz Ukraine in the total sales of coal concentrate grew to 8% in 2017 from 1% in 2016.
Last year the company sold 7.494 million tons of coal concentrate and ordinary coal, up by 16%, including 4.522 million tons abroad, up by 25%.
“The share of exports in the overall sales of concentrate grew to 68%, or to 4.5 million tons, of which 78% accounted for the Asian-Pacific region and 22% for Europe. Deliveries to Europe grew mostly because of the increase of sales to Ukraine, Slovakia and Turkey”, the company said. (Ukrainian metal)
