The Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman has sent a letter to the US government asking it to remove Ukrainian metal products from 25% duty sanctions.
On March 8 Donald Trump announced the imposition of a 25% duty on metal from all countries, except for Canada and Mexico, to protect the local market.
In 2015 Ukraine supplied $119.6 million worth of metal to US, in 2016 – $89.7 million and in 2017 – $175.6 million. (Ukrainian metal)
