In February deliveries of scrap metal to Ukrainian metal works dropped by 20 thousand tons MoM, to 225 thousand tons, or 93% of the need.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, in January-February metal companies received 470 thousand tons of scrap, up by 3% YoY, or 97% of the need.
In February scrap stocks at metal companies grew by 20 thousand tons and as of March 1 reached some 90 thousand tons.
53 thousand tons of scrap were exported in February, up by 20 thousand tons MoM.
In 2 months exports reached 86 thousand tons against 18 thousand tons in January-February 2017.
In February Ukraine imported 6 thousand tons of scrap and 9 thousand tons in 2 months, up by 2 thousand tons YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
