In 2017 Metalloinvest revenue grew by 46.2%, to $6.2 billion mostly because of market situation improvement and the growth of high added value products sales, in particular hot-briquetted iron.

Metal products sales revenue last year increased by 43.7%, to $3.2 billion, and iron ore sales – by 51.5%, to $2.8 billion. The main share of the profit (75.5%) in the iron ore segment falls on high added value products – pellets and HBI. In 2017 the share of the domestic market in the consolidated revenue of the company increased to 40.5% from 39.6%.

EBITDA increased by 68.5%, to $2.1 billion. In particular, mining segment EBITDA was $1.7 billion, up by 80.1%, and of metal segment – $406 million, up by 34.9%. (Ukrainian metal)
