In January Ukraine increased revenue from ferrous metals exports by 33.4% YoY, to $873.35 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, ferrous metals accounted for 23.45% of the total exports in the period, up from 21.64% last January.

In December 2017 revenue from ferrous metals exports totaled $817.37 million.

At the same time ferrous metals imports in January increased by 62.5% YoY, to $88.48 million ($99.94 million in December 2017).

Moreover, Ukraine increased metal wares exports by 39.4% YoY in January, to $81.78 million ($88.37 million), while imports grew by 31.4%, to $60.04 million ($78.88 million). (Ukrainian metal)
