In January-November 2017 Russia increased exports of rebars to Poland 9-fold YoY, to 60 thousand tons.
The main exporter in the given period was NLMK-Kaluga (95% of the total exports). Evraz ZSMK supplied some 2 thousand tons.
In November 2017 the average price for NLMK-Kaluga rebars was $545 per ton, and that of Evraz ZSMK – $511 per ton.
This is the record high level of rebars exports to Poland. In 2006-2008 the volumes did not exceed 8 thousand tons per year, and in 2009-2013 – 2.4 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
