In December 2017 iron ore raw materials deliveries totaled 2.5 million tons (on the November 2017 level), coal – 1.3 million tons, up by 16% MoM, and coke – 860 thousand tons, down by 1%.

The share of imported coal was 79%, or 1.03 million tons of 1.3 million tons, coke – 10.5%, or 90 thousand tons of 860 thousand tons.

In 12 months metal companies received 26.6 million tons of iron ore raw materials, down by 7% YoY.

At the same time by-product coke plants received 14.3 million tons of coal, down by 20% YoY, and 9.5 million tons of coke, down by 10%. The share of imported coal was 76%, of coke – 9.7%. (Ukrainian metal)
