In 2017 Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased rolled metal output by 12.7% YoY, to 2.785 million tons.
According to the company statement, steel manufacture grew by 13.1%, to 3.096 million tons, and pig iron – by 9.1%, to 4.164 million tons.
In December 2017 the company produced 260 thousand tons of rolled metal, 283 thousand tons of steel and 432 thousand tons of pig iron, all up from 237 thousand tons, 264 thousand tons and 397 thousand tons in November 2017 respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
