Severstal has started delivering ArmaNorma (A600C) rebars for the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant in Turkey.
In December 2017 the group shipped the first batch of rebars weighing 400 tons for the foundation of the power plant.
Some 1.6 thousand tons of rebars more will be delivered in early 2018.
“Participation in such a project is a very large responsibility for us. To ensure timely and quality delivery of rebars we have developed a unique system: products are shipped directly from the shop and transported via automobiles to the construction site in Turkey”, Severstal Management sales director Evgeniy Chernyakov said.
By 2019 Severstal will have supplied 32 thousand tons of metal for the NPP construction. (Ukrainian metal)
