Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works has put in operation a new bearing test bench.
The equipment allows finding careless suppliers, decrease expenses on purchases and the number of unscheduled repairs.
Ball and roller bearings are the most needed spare parts at BMK – each year the company buys some 30 thousand pieces of bearings at 16 million rubles. They are used in all types of rolling and wire machinery.
It takes some 60 seconds to test each bearing at the new bench. (Ukrainian metal)
