The manufacturing plans on the tender to supply pipes for the surface site of Nord Stream 2 have to be completed, Fund of the pipe industry development reported.
“We’re negotiating a new approach to the price formation, and the decision has to be taken soon not to break the continuous manufacturing process”, the fund said.
According to the fund, in 2016-2017 large diameter pipe manufacturing capacities are on the level of 45%. This year the output will total 2.7 million tons, while the local demand is only 1.7 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
