ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih intends to expand the geography of its sales in Africa, while the share of its sales in CIS is decreasing.
“We have recently opened a delivery channel to the countries of East Africa. We have organized an office in Tanzania to supply metal to Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Kenya”, the company CEO Paramjit Kahlon said.
According to him AMKR sells over 1 million tons of metal to the countries of West Africa: Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, as well as the northern states: Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco.
“In the Near East we supply to Siria, Israel, Egypt, in the Middle East – to Saudi Arabia, UAE and Iraq”, he added.
As to the Americas, there AMKR sells metal to Costa-Rica, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Peru and sometimes to Brazil. (Ukrainian metal)
