Polymetal has started mining gold and silver-containing ore at the Olcha deposits in Magadan region.
This year the company intends to extract 9.5 thousand tons for processing.
Estimated reserves of the deposit are 400 thousand tons of ore with the average content of gold at 8.6 g per ton and silver – 22 g per ton, or 113 thousand ounces (3.5 tons) of gold and 286 thousand ounces (9 tons) of silver.
In H1 Polymetal produced 389 thousand ounces of gold (10.5 tons) and 12.8 million ounces of silver (398.1 tons), up by 15%, but down by 10% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
