Metinvest has presented the projects of ecological modernization of Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works to the public.
Within the sintering factory reconstruction the company is replacing gas-purifying equipment. Sintering machines Nos. 1-7 have been repaired. This is expected to decrease air pollution in the city by 40%, while dust emission at the works will drop by 91%.
The group invests over 2.4 billion UAH in the sintering factory reconstruction. And additionally by 2021 it will have spent over 1.4 billion UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
