The mining site No. 1 of the Pershotravenskoye Mine Group of DTEK Pavlogradugol has mined 1 million tons of coal since the beginning of the year.
It is planned that this and other sites will outperform their annual output target.
“Some 10 years ago this was an unachievable result. At that time for all the 5 sites of the Stepnaya mine the highest result was 1.3 million tons per year, and now just 1 site with 140 miners yielded 1 million tons in early December”, DTEK Pershotravenskoye Mine Group director Alexander Gusev commented.
Till the end of the year the site will mine 1.08 million tons of coal, having exceeded its annual plan by 170 thousand tons, while the whole mine group will yield 388 thousand tons of gas coal more. (Ukrainian metal)
