In January-November Ukraine mined 31.964 million tons of coal, down by 13.6% YoY, or by 5.044 million tons.
According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, energy-generating coal output dropped by 12%, or by 3.55 million tons, to 25.758 million tons, while coking coal – by 19%, or by 1.489 million tons, to 6.206 million tons.
In November coal mining decreased by 19% YoY, or by 723.923 thousand tons, to 3.087 million tons.
The ministry coal companies in 11 months mined 4.426 million tons, down by 16% YoY, or by 851.469 thousand tons, including 3.569 million tons of energy coal and 857 thousand tons of coking coal, all down by 7% and by 39.9% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
