Russia’s gold output grew by about 8% YoY, to 235.999 tons in January-September, the Union of Gold Producers of Russia said in a statement on December 14.

Miner gold production rose by 7%, to 188.763 tons, byproduct production by 14%, to 12.946 tons, and scrap gold output rose by 3%, to 27.203 tons.

Silver output fell by 7%, to 1,182.89 tons in the period. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
