In January-October Severstal sold 912 thousand tons of coated rolled metal, up by 13% YoY.
Galvanized metal sales increased by 20% YoY, or by 93 thousand tons, to 570 thousand tons. Polymer-coated metal sales reached 343 thousand tons, up by 2% YoY, or by 8 thousand tons.
“We believe metal consumption in this sector will remain on the previous year level. Despite this we have increased sales due to the reorientation to other markets. But the local market is still the key one for us”, Severstal Management sales director Evgeniy Chernyakov said. (Ukrainian metal)
