Russia has all the prerequisites to increase aluminum consumption from the current 6 kg per capita to 10 kg by 2020.
And this is one of the tasks of the Aluminum Association, the organization chairman Valentin Trischenko declared.
“For this we need to direct all our efforts to the import of all industries. We hope that with the help of the state and industrial associations we will be able to improve the indexes”, he said.
Every year Russian manufacturers of aluminum furniture accessories sell some 3 thousand tons of wares, while their capacities are 300 thousand tons, and they are only 70% loaded. (Ukrainian metal)
