The insolvent KVV Liepajas metalurgs could be sold in parts in case a new investor is not found.

According to the minister of economy Arvil Asheradens, one potential investor has been selected who wants to test the arc furnace. The tests are planned to be complete on December 19, after that the investor will decide on the purchase.

Asheradens declined to name the investor, but noted he had previously showed interest in the purchase.

At the same time the government is prepared for an unsuccessful scenario, that is selling the company in parts. (Ukrainian metal)
