In January-October Severniy Mining and Processing Works produced 6.128 million tons of pellets, down by 17.6% YoY.
Concentrate output dropped by 6%, to 9.372 million tons.
In October SevGOK produced 562 thousand tons of pellets, 948 thousand tons of concentrate as opposed to 738 thousand tons of pellets and 905 thousand tons of concentrate in September.
According to the company statement, the pellets shop No. 2 has started 45-day repairs of the Lurgi 552A pelletization machine valued at 95 million UAH. After the repairs the machine will reach its project capacity of 505 thousand tons of pellets per hour.
In 2016 SevGOK produced 8.882 million tons of pellets and 11.637 million tons of concentrate, up by 15.5%, but down by 11.5% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
