In October Ukrainian iron and steel works received 270 thousand tons of scrap, down by 7% MoM.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, in October scrap-procuring companies prepared 310 thousand tons of scrap. Thus, 40 thousand tons were exported, down by 20% MoM.
The metal industry in October was provided with scrap on the level of 89%.
In January-October metal works received 2.7 million tons of scrap, up by 13% YoY. At the same time companies procured 3.1 million tons of scrap, thus exporting 40 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
