Ukrainian metal companies tentatively decreased coke production by 20% YoY in January-October, to 8.588 million tons, the Ukrmetallurgprom association (Dnipro) has reported.
Pipe production grew by 25%, to 876,000 tons.
In October alone, 93,600 tons of pipes and 901,000 tons of coke were made.
According to the revised data, metal companies in January-October produced 15.179 million tons of rolled steel (down by 15% YoY), 17.66 million tons of steel (down by 13%) and 16.424 million tons of cast iron (down by 17%).
In October, 1.896 million tons of steel, 1.697 million tons of rolled steel and 1.796 million tons of cast iron were produced. (Interfax-Ukraine/Ukrainian metal)
