The increase of the current coal price by 10% will improve the situation with paying salary to miners.
According to the chairman of the Professional Union of Mining Industry Employees of Ukraine Victor Turmanov, the Ministry of energy and coal industry intends to increase state coal sales price from 2220 UAH to 2425 UAH per ton.
“As the budget has very bad financing, the coal price increase will help solve the salary payment problem”, he said.
