ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has started reconstructing the small bars and sections mill 250-4.
After modernization the mill will be able to process 150×150 mm billets and will be the first mill at the works to produce rebars from such billets.
One of the advantages of the reconstruction is that it will be possible to manufacture products in demand on the market: rebars in bundles.
The mill can produce 1.05 million tons of metal per year.
Reconstruction will end in late 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
