The net profit of Chelyabinsk Zinc Works, Russia’s largest zinc producer, increased by 24.4% YoY, to 3.854 billion rubles under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) in January- September, it said in a statement on October 26.
Revenue rose by 29.5%, to 21.538 billion rubles, gross profit grew by 16%, to 6.053 billion rubles; income from sales went up by 20.7%, to 4.455 billion rubles, while the pre-tax profit added 24.7%, to 4.834 billion rubles.
Assets fell by 0.3% from December 31, 2016 to 29.245 billion rubles as of September 30.
Long-term liabilities rose by 0.5%, to 263.848 billion rubles and short-terms liabilities dropped by 49.4%, to 4.607 billion rubles, respectively. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
