Karelsky Okatysh project on the replacement of magnetic separators is drawing to an end. The new machines consume almost 2 times less water and electricity.
“After replacement instead of five pairs of separators with the combined electricity consumption of 40 kW, we will have only two new ones that consume 15 kW. The new machines allowed decreasing water consumption from1.4 thousand cubic meters per hour to 560 cubic meters”, the crushing and processing shop master Khanif Sharapov explains.
The old separators have been in operation since 1982. (Ukrainian metal)
