In January-September Ukrainian ports handled some 6.3 million tons of coal, up by 65.7% YoY.

The main coal-handling terminals are located in the port of Yuzhniy. They handled 4.29 million tons of coal, or 68% of the total volume.

All the coal-handling ports demonstrated growth, except for Chernomorsk, which showed a sharp fall to 3 thousand tons from 124 thousand tons last year. Olvia also had a negative dynamics.

All in all 7 Ukrainian ports handle coal, with 3 situated in Odessa region: Izmail, Chernomorsk and Yuzhniy. (Ukrainian metal)
