In January-September Ukrainian metal companies received 2.4 million tons of scrap, up by 6% YoY, but still 89% of their need.

In September scrap deliveries increased by 20 thousand tons MoM, to 290 thousand tons, or 89% of the need.

Scrap exports in September dropped by 20 thousand tons MoM, to 50 thousand tons. In 9 months Ukraine exported 320 thousand tons of scrap, up from 233 thousand tons in January-September 2017.

At the same time scrap stock decreased by 20 thousand tons in September, to 90 thousand tons (190 thousand tons as of the beginning of the year). (Ukrainian metal)
