In January-September Kapan Mining and Processing Works processed 389 thousand tons of ore.
In Q3 ore processing totaled 149 thousand tons against 112 thousand tons in Q3 2016.
Gold contents in 1 ton of ore in Q3 were 2 g, down by 15% YoY, silver contents – 35 g (-27%), copper – 0.27% (-14%), and zinc – 1.32% (-17%).
Gold output in Q3 was 6.7 thousand ounces (21.1 thousand ounces in 9 months), silver – 0.1 million ounces (0.4 million), copper – 0.3 thousand tons (0.9 thousand tons), and zinc – 1.3 thousand tons (3.6 thousand tons).
In August the factory hit a record of processing with 51 thousand tons of ore. (Ukrainian metal)
