In January-September Kapan Mining and Processing Works, a part of Polymetal International plc, processed 470 thousand tons of ore as opposed to 389 thousand tons in 9 months of 2017.

In Q3 ore processing volumes totaled 158 thousand tons against 143 thousand tons.

Ore output in Q3 was 159 thousand tons (136 thousand tons in Q3 2017) and 470 thousand tons in 9 months, up by 22% YoY.

Gold contents in ore dropped by 4% YoY, to 1.9 grams, silver – by 20%, to 28 grams, copper – by 5%, to 0.25% and zinc – by 2%, to 1.3%

In Q3 the company produced 5.9 thousand ounces of gold (20 thousand ounces in 9 months), 0.1 million ounces of silver (0.3 million ounces), 0.3 thousand tons of copper (1.1 thousand tons) and 1.4 thousand tons of zinc (4.3 thousand tons). (Ukrainian metal)
