In January-June Russia produced 12.882 tons of platinum, down by 0.92% YoY, and 45.251 tons of palladium, up by 6.9% YoY.

According to the Russian Union of Gold Miners, this year total output of platinum and palladium could reach 25.7-28.1 tons and 85.98-89.16 tons respectively.

By-product palladium output increased by 10.7% YoY, to 43.827 tons, while secondary output dropped by 9.4%, to 1422 kg.

The most of alluvial platinum (281.3 kg) was obtained by Russian Platinum Group of Companies in Khabarovsk region.

Nornickel yielded 10.562 tons of platinum and 43.827 tons of palladium, up by 12.6% and by 10.7% YoY respectively.

Silver output in H1 totaled 219.4 tons, down by 16.4% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
