Alexander Astakhov has been appointed the new managing director of Blagoveschensk Rebars Works, a part of OMK.
He has been working with the company since 1999. Lately he has been the manufacturing director and the acting managing director.
“The work of the BAZ occupies an important position in the OMK strategy. Alexander Astakhov is an experienced engineer and manager. His first and foremost task will be to continue the modernization of BAZ, expanding its product range and improving the pipefittings quality”, the OMK president Vladimir Markin commented.
