Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works has put into operation the slab-heating furnace in the rolling shop after repairs.
The machinery is a part of the chain to produce high quality steel sheet.
The cost of the repair was some 2 million rubles.
The repaired furnace heats slabs before they are rolled at the 2300/1700 mill. (Ukrainian metal)
