On September 20 Ruspolymet put into operation a new radial forging shop.
The new Austrian radial-forging mill operating together with two heating furnaces, two heat-treating furnaces, a mobile manipulator and three mills will provide for the manufacture of the high-quality rods for aviation, power, machine-building, chemical and oil-and-gas industries.
The new machine will allow Ruspolymet to increase the range of its products of special steels and alloys.
Investments into the shop construction totaled 1 billion rubles.
“The commissioning of the radial forging shop is the end of our large investment program, which has lasted for 10 years. Our present task is to improve machining”, the company board of directors chairman Victor Klochay declared. (Ukrainian metal)
