Uralelectromed has finished the scheduled repairs of its shaft furnace No. 1 at the Kirovograd subsidiary “Proizvodstvo polimetallov”. The total cost of repair was 77 million rubles.
The furnace has been completely disassembled and then assembled again.
The company has also replaced gas ducts. In particular 27 meters of the largest gas duct (3.6 meters in diameter) have been repaired.
During the repairs over 320 tons of metal structures have been produced and assembled. The repairs lasted for 28 days.
At present the “Proizvodstvo polimetallov” operates 3 shaft furnaces with the combined capacity of 6 thousand tons of red metal per month. (Ukrainian metal)
