In January-June exports of metal structures from Ukraine exceeded last year levels.
“In H1 Ukraine exported 8.3 thousand tons of metal structures, up almost 2-fold YoY. The main destinations were the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, China and Lithuania. At the same time Ukraine imported some 1.7 thousand tons of metal structures”, the Ukrainian Center for Steel Construction reported.
“The key destination of exports from Ukraine were European countries – 90% of the total volume. With 70% of the exports falling on behalf of just 3 companies. We expect metal structure exports to account for 17% of the total volume this year”, the company managing director Vyacheslav Kolesnik noted. (Ukrainian metal)
