In August Zaporizhstal produced 353.4 thousand tons of steel, up by 9.6% YoY.
According to the company statement, pig iron output increased by 28.4%, to 381.8 thousand tons, and rolled metal – by 3.7%, to 2.175 million tons.
In January-August Zaporizhstal produced 2.58 million tons of steel, 2.358 million tons of pig iron and 2.175 million tons of rolled metal, all down by 0.5%, 2% and 3.7% YoY respectively,
The decrease in output has to do with the major overhaul of the blast furnace No. 3. (Ukrainian metal)
