The southern part of the Vograshorskaya mine has 23 million tons of coking coal.
“It was impossible to get to those deposits, so we decided to construct a separate sloping hole”, Vorkutaugol executive director Yevgeniy Balukov explained.
The construction has been complete, and the company has started preparing the breakage face.
The development of the site will last till 2030.
Investments into the project exceeded 2 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
