In July Ukraine, not counting the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Sevastopol and the ATO zone, produced 975 thousand tons of steel (without continuous cast semi-finished products), up by 7.8% YoY and by 16.5% MoM.
According to the State Statistics Service, steel output in January-July decreased by 7.3% YoY, to 6175 thousand tons.
Pig iron manufacture in July dropped by 26.4% YoY, but increased by 2.5% MoM, to 1549 thousand tons, with 7-months result at 10948 thousand tons, down by 21.9% YoY.
Rolled metal output in July decreased by 6.6% YoY and by 6.1% MoM, to 985 thousand tons. In January-July Ukraine produced 6938 thousand tons of rolled metal, down by 9.4% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
