In March, according to the customs statistics, Russia imported 63.5 thousand tons of galvanized rolled metal, up by 28% YoY.

In January-March imports reached 139.1 thousand tons, down by 1.9% YoY.

The main supplier is Kazakhstan – 50.2 thousand tons, down by 42.5%. The average price on the border with Russia in March was $707.8 per ton without VAT.

China is the second largest supplier – 30.6 thousand tons, up 9-fold, at $707.4 per ton, followed by Ukraine (26.5 thousand tons, up 1.9-fold, at $630.7). (Ukrainian metal)
