In January-July railroad transportation to and from the ports totaled 2.25 million tons, down by 2.1% YoY.

In particular, export transportation dropped by 3.5%, to 2.19 million tons, while imports increased by 92.8%, to 61.66 thousand tons.

Railroad deliveries to port St. Petersburg totaled 1.08 million tons of non-ferrous metals, down by 10.8% YoY, to port Novorossiysk – 509.07 thousand tons, down by 5.2%, to port Vladivostok – 287.41 thousand tons, up by 71.2%. Thus St. Petersburg accounted for 49% of all the export transportation, Novorossiysk – 23% and Vladivostok – 13%.

Import transportation from port Vladivostok was 28.5 thousand tons, up 2.6-fold, from Vostochniy – 18.71 thousand tons, up by 55.8%. (Ukrainian metal)
