The European Commission has started an antidumping investigation as to deliveries of Ukrainian and Egyptian ferrosilicon to the territory of the European Union.
The investigation was started at the request of Euroalliages and would inspect ferrosilicon produced in Egypt and Ukraine and supplied to the EU from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. The products correspond to the customs codes of CN 7202 21 00, 7202 29 10 and 7202 29 90.
The investigation will last for 15 months, but temporarily duties could be imposed in 9 months. (Ukrainian metal)
