Ukraine’s Energy and Coal Industry Ministry plans to make legal arrangements towards Turkish companies that buy coal from the areas temporarily not under control of the Ukrainian government, minister Ihor Nasalyk reported.
“The ministry sent letters to the embassies of eight countries where coal from the ATO zone could be sold. The most problematic is Turkey. We are working with our embassy in Turkey and officially we will make legal arrangements via law firms towards companies for which it was confirmed that they received this coal trying to prevent them from doing this,” he said.
As reported, DTEK Energy holding records attempts of unlawful sale of coal from coalmines located on the temporarily uncontrolled areas of Ukraine to Turkey and Spain. (Interfax-Ukraine/Ukrainian metal)
